We’re hiring! Patient & Public Involvement Officer and Researcher vacancies
We have some exciting opportunities for people to join the dynamic Health Technology Wales Team for the following positions: Public & Patient Involvement Officer and Health Services Researcher.
The Patient & Public Involvement (PPI) Officer will assist in the communication, co-ordination and evaluation of PPI throughout Health Technology Wales’ work in health and social care. We’re looking for someone with specialist knowledge in evidence-based medicine, in particular service user and PPI approaches. The PPI Officer post is fixed term until March 2021.
We are also looking for three Health Services Researchers: one permanent post and two fixed-term posts until March 2020. Researchers will be responsible for producing rapid Evidence Appraisal Reports and contributing expertise as a member of the evidence review team. We’re looking for people with specialist knowledge of literature searching and critical appraisal, and experience in evaluating evidence on health interventions to support guidance development. Health Technology Wales’ purpose is to identify, appraise, promote, enable and measure the adoption of health technologies across NHS Wales, linking into national agendas for innovation and prudent healthcare. Health Technology Wales is responsible for undertaking appraisals of the clinical and cost implications of non-medicine health technologies in Wales, working with, but independently of, NHS Wales.
